In this tragic moment an anxious customer storms through the aisle of a Tesco supermarket and throws items on the floor in front of the horrified staff ‘after being told to wear a mask’. The footage shows the man pulling items from shelves and throwing them to the ground on September 22 at a branch on Oxbridge Road in Ealing, west London.

The angry customer continued his aisle of confectionery and littered the floor with packets of cripps, chocolates and popcorn as the concerned staff kept an eye on him. It is understood that the customer started his treadmill at the store after staff members told him to wear a mask or leave the supermarket. A Tesco spokesman said: "We are grateful to the police for their assistance following the unrest at our Tesco Express store on Uxbridge Road several weeks ago.”

'The shop is functioning normally after the incident. "An investigation by An Garda Siochana is underway now and when we apologize to a customer for what happened."
