4.3 earthquake hits center of Lake Tahoe, shakes Carson City | LTTBNews

The shake was initially announced as a 4.4, however was changed to a 4.3.

The University of Nevada seismological lab recorded a 4.3 extent tremor in similar region as the new bunch of shakes, north of South Lake Tahoe and east of Glenbrook, directly in the center of Lake Tahoe. The United States Geological Survey (USGS) has recorded the tremor at 4.1 size. It was found simply 1.2 miles underneath the surface, as per USGS starting reports.

Lake Tahoe

Prior Friday, the U.S. Topographical Survey Berkeley Seismological Laboratory announced a 2.9 quake at 4:59 a.m. simply on the California side of Lake Tahoe. No wounds or harms were accounted for. The tremor was felt via Carson City inhabitants.

নেভাডা সিসমোলজিকাল ইউনিভার্সিটি দক্ষিণ লেক তাহোয়ের উত্তর এবং গ্লেনব্রুকের পূর্বে সরাসরি লেকের তাহোয়ের কেন্দ্রে নতুন কাঁপুনির মতো একটি অঞ্চলে 4.3 মাত্রার কম্পনের রেকর্ড করেছে। যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের ভূতাত্ত্বিক জরিপ (ইউএসজিএস) কম্পনের রেকর্ড করেছে ৪.১ আকারে। এটি ইউএসজিএস শুরুর রিপোর্ট অনুসারে পৃষ্ঠের নীচে কেবল 1.2 মাইল দূরে পাওয়া গেছে।

শুক্রবারের আগে, মার্কিন টোগোগ্রাফিক জরিপ বার্কলে সিসমোলজিকাল ল্যাবরেটরি কেবলমাত্র ক্যালিফোর্নিয়ায় লেক তাহোয়ের পাশে ভোর 4:59 এ 2.9 একটি ভূমিকম্পের ঘোষণা দেয়। কোনও ক্ষত বা ক্ষতির জন্য দায়বদ্ধ ছিল না। কাঁপুনিটি অনুভূত হয়েছিল কারসন সিটির বাসিন্দাদের মাধ্যমে।
