Malta turns into the first EU nation to decline unvaccinated tourists
In the battle against corona, Malta is the first country in the European Union to deny unvaccinated tourists. The Authorities will boycott all guests to the country from Wednesday who have not been completely vaccinated against Covid-19.

Confirmation of vaccination is compulsory from 14 July. Malta perceives the European corona passport, as does the British corona certificate. Children going with their patents should have the option to introduce a negative corona test. Unaccompanied children are not permitted to travel.
"We will be the first EU country to do this, but we must protect our society," said health minister Chris Fearne. Previously, just explorers from Great Britain needed to submit confirmation of vaccination, for different tourists a negative corona test was accepted.

Malta recorded 96 new infections in the previous 24 hours, the fourth continuous day when the number almost multiplied. A greater part of those infections are related with foreign tourists. Malta has the most noteworthy vaccination rate in Europe: 79% of grown-ups are completely vaccinated, 84% have gotten a first shot.
