Job Context: A French Retailer is Hiring Merchandising Manager for Bangladesh:
One purchasing office based in Bangladesh (Dhaka) for 25 years which manufactures on-site and develops the textile collections of the biggest brands and retailers is hiring MERCHANDISING MANAGER
Job Description
- As part of the strengthening of its team, this office is recruiting its:
- Directly attached to the founders and managers of the agency, you will be responsible for managing the team of merchandisers.

As such, your missions will be:
- Develop products and different collections throughout the year with suppliers and partner factories,
- Energize and manage the teams of merchandisers on a daily basis on all aspects concerning the follow-up of deliveries, the progress of the development process of collection and production prototypes, requests for quotations, price negotiations, etc.,
- Maintain the commercial relationship with your current customers by communicating on a daily basis with buyers in France and by being their main relay in the office,
- Participate in business development with new potential customers.
Required profile:
- Francophone, you have a first successful experience of at least 2 years as a buyer, product manager, production manager, product development manager, or in another similar position within a brand, a brand, or an importer, imperatively in the textile sector.
- You have solid experience in purchasing and textile manufacturing (materials, assemblies, etc.), with, if possible, a first experience in international team management.
- You are dynamic, reactive, and organized and you are looking for a position abroad in a company on a human scale which leaves a lot of room for autonomy and initiative. You want to work in an enriching and formative environment.
