Job Queue: Senior Executive (import) Supply Chain Department:
Shellbd is looking for one Senior Executive (import) for their Supply Chain Department at Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
- To prepare month to month demand plans based on determining and analysis.
- Communicate with various worldwide suppliers for placing order and ensuring on-time manufacturing of products.
- Organizing with freight forwarders to speed up goods pick-up, vessel booking, and sailing.
- Maintain correspondence with C&F agents, Insurance Companies, and transporters to ensure timely goods delivering and delivered from various ports to the warehouse.
- Processing requisitions, CS, PO, and keep up with LC-related all data through ERP.
- correspondence with banks to proceed LC, import records, and supplier’s payment.
- Update the stock situation against import under entitlement with the warehouse.
Job Requirements:
- Business Graduate from any reputed university (Major in Supply Chain Management will get advantage), PGDSCM would be an additional benefit.
- Minimum 3 - 4 years’ experience in import operations and direct contribution with Banks, Insurance, C&F, Customs Clearance, Freight Forwarder, Transport organization etc.
- Excellent communication skill
- Very good knowledge in MS Excel is required.
- Positive attitude of professionalism.
